Pitchers and Catchers

I love baseball, and nothing sounds better than the words 'pitcher', 'catcher', 'spring training', 'Santana', and "Joe Mauer's healthy left knee". Yes, I am a fan of the game of baseball, the Minnesota Twins especially, and living in California I have to get all my good baseball stuff from the infernal thing they call the internet. Fortunately, there are some great Twins blogs out there (bat-girl), Twins geek, warning track power etc.. that I have no hope of duplicating in knowledge, insight, or even comedy value. So I won't even bother trying - I'm just plain old exited to see what this year's crop of er.. young talent and unpredictable veterans will do. Great pitching we have by the banana boat-full, but big questions remain in hitting and fielding and that mysterious 'clubhouse chemistry' that seemed to be a part of the problem last year. Hey wait a minute, despite all that, the Twins posted a winning record in a very competative division, and look like they are actually trying some new things this year with the veteran signings of Castilo, Batista, and White. If these guys are even just ok, the pitching holds up, and Morneau gets some better contact lenses, there might be another winning record. This is probably the toughest division in baseball this year, what with the World Series Champ White Sox and the Cleveland Indians, and hey! They got what we call ... a chance! At a wild card. They just gotta win games.

You are right of course, but a spoil sport. Actually, here in SF, I want to read about something else than Barry Bonds in a dress.
